my dream list of gadget

this is my most wanted list of things to buy (in no particular order) & why :

PC : asus eee pc 1002HA/1000HE
small, light & cute. it can perform just about 90% of what most people do on the pc.

phone : nokia 5800
forget about the expensive iphone 3G. this phone can do the same thing & more with much less money

keyboard : korg X50
u can get high quality normal keyboard & synth sounds in a cheap & small package

camera : panasonic LX3/TZ7
nice little cam which can perform almost like the bigger DSLR (LX3) & with HD video & 12x zoom (TZ7)

guitar : line 6 variax 600
you can switch between fender, gibson & acoustic on a single guitar

effects : line 6 XT live
all the guitar effect sound u can think of, with a push of a button with your foot

question is, which one should i get first? hmmm....

arowana business

i wanna talk about something else for a change. if u are looking at investing in something try this : arowana. yes, the fish. i found companies mushrooming in bukit merah near taiping perak which deal with arowana business in a big way. bukit merah is said to be the breeding place of the best quality arowana species in the world. to be frank, i'm not into fish, i mean of the aquarium kind. i do like to eat them btw. especially if they are grilled. but arowana has changed my perspective towards fish when my friend brought me to one the places in bukit merah. it opens my eyes on what arowana can bring, economy-wise. the yearly return is said to be better than most unit trusts can offer & it's for long term. you get profit through breeding of arowana eggs, equallt shared between you, the investor, & the company who owns the arowana pond. it makes sense really. arowana price is not affected by world economy. it goes up & up. so, i repeat, if u think of investing in something, try arowana breeding.

Garmin Nuvi 205W

I just received my new garmin nuvi 205W. It's soooo fast compared to my gps-enabled phone. one thing for sure i'll never go back to GPS-ing on the phone again, unless of course if i don't bring my new garmin with me. the menu is almost the same as the software counterpart on the phone. the response however is something else. no more waiting a long time for the gps signal to be locked, map details to be displayed & search results to be shown. It's wide display screen of 4.3" is much more comfortable to the eye compared to the phone's tiny 2.8" one. I definitely recommend this model to someone looking for basic car navigation unit. It's definitely worth the price I paid for it...

playing music via pc part 2

i found out that playing live via a pc is not so suitable. i am not too sure why but sometimes the sound got "stuck" & i had to reset several times during play. it could be the hardware or cabling issue though. it sure can cost embarassment if you are playing in front of audience. so conclusion is that pc is only suitable for recording purpose or simply playing at home where nobody care if you make mistakes.

the solution for me? i am thinking of purchasing a new keyboard with synthesizer capability. so far the only suitable (ie cheap) model is korg X50. i am looking forward to try it & buy it when my disposable income is good enough :)
